Reonels was invited to “Extremadura – Asia Commercial Event” as the representative agent of Yiwu small commodities market. We were arranged to have a meeting with Spanish buyer,

Manuel Gamero Toscano with 25 years worked on the ornaments products, is the manager of a company with own warehouse, workshops. It has a national sale network around Spain (Seville, Huelva & Extremadura A.C.) and also with 4 sale points in Andalucía A.C..

The day before the actual commercial event, we were invited to FourSeasons Hotel, Ball Room 2, for orientation and presentation of the Business Opportunities in Extremadura. There was a brief introduction about region Extremadura and companies from Extremadura. Managers, Directors and CEOs from big and small companies from Extremadura participated to “Extremadura – Asia Commercial Event”. Every participant proudly presented their company and we got to know more about our buyer.

After the meeting, there was wine and jamon, from Extremadura, for wine tasting, but enough to get all people full. Wine was excellent and jamon was the original from Spain, the most delicious and authentic. While we were enjoying the wine tasting event, we used the time to introduce ourselves to the buyer.

Our meeting was held in SPAIN PAVILION of EXPO 2010 SHANGHAI CHINA. Asian companies were gathered in Expo main
entrance no. 3 and guided through Expo to Spain Pavilion. We first took a tour in Spain Pavilion and then had a meeting with Extremadura companies. Our meeting went very well, buyer asked us to go to Yiwu together after the meeting. We canceled other schedules in Shanghai, went back to Yiwu with the buyer.

By the way, the lunch was Spain Tapas, Jamon and Wine, which was delicious as always. But we had to miss the dinner with flamenco dance performance.

PRESENTATION:
Extremadura is an autonomous community of western Spain, which borders directly Portugal to the west. The capital city is Merida and it has two provinces based on Badajoz and Caceres. And Extremadura contains a total population near 1,100,000 in an area of 42,000 sq km.

During the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, the Spanish Pavilion will organize “Great Week” for its 17 Autonomous Communities. The Great Week for Extremadura A.C. will take place from 11th Oct. to 17th Oct. in Shanghai, and the “Extremadura – Asia Commercial Event”, between 13th and 14th of Oct., will be one of the most important events during the Great Week.

Aiming to develop commercial relationship and communication among Spain and Asian Countries, the companies from Extremadura A.C. of different sectors as followed will attend the “Extremadura – Asia Commercial Event”
